It can feel like you’re always “on”

Even when nothing is wrong, your mind keeps going, your body feels tense, and resting doesn’t feel possible. You may notice yourself overthinking conversations, reacting more quickly than you want to, or pushing through exhaustion because slowing down feels unsafe or unproductive.

You’ve likely spent years being the dependable one—capable, responsible, and emotionally attuned to others—while ignoring your own needs. Patterns like people-pleasing, self-criticism, or emotional shutdown keep showing up, even when you promise yourself things will be different next time. Part of you understands what’s happening, and another part feels frustrated that insight alone hasn’t brought relief.

You know something needs to change. You don’t want to keep living in survival mode or just managing symptoms. You want to feel calmer in your body, more in control of your reactions, and more connected to yourself and your relationships—not someday, but in your everyday life.

What People Are Saying

I believe therapy needs to get to the root in order to truly heal.

Many women come to therapy already understanding their anxiety or patterns, yet still feel stuck and overwhelmed. I don’t believe in generic therapy, because people aren’t generic. Real healing happens through connection—both with yourself and with a therapist who’s attuned, curious, and willing to go deeper with you. This work is about more than managing symptoms; it’s about creating meaningful, lasting change.

Areas I specialize In

Each area is approached with depth, curiosity, and a focus on lasting change.

  • Anxiety can feel like being constantly “on” - stuck in your head, tense in your body, and unable to fully relax even when nothing is wrong. We’ll work to help your system settle, understand what’s driving the anxiety beneath the surface, and create relief that actually lasts.

  • If you’re used to taking care of others, setting boundaries can feel uncomfortable, guilt-inducing, or even unsafe. We’ll explore where these patterns began and help you build the self-trust and internal safety needed to speak up and put yourself first without fear of losing connection.

  • Perfectionism and self-criticism often start as ways to stay in control or avoid getting hurt, but over time they become exhausting. We’ll work to soften the inner critic, understand what’s driving these patterns, and create more compassion, flexibility, and ease in how you relate to yourself.

  • Early relationships shape how we cope, connect, and protect ourselves - often outside of our awareness. Through deeper, relational work, we’ll gently explore these early patterns so you can feel more grounded, connected, and less reactive in your present-day life.

How Therapy Works Here

This work happens online—and that’s intentional.

I offer therapy entirely online, so you can do meaningful, in-depth work from the comfort and safety of your own space.

I also work in an extended session format because deeper work needs time and space. This allows us to slow down, follow what’s actually happening beneath the surface, and make meaningful progress without feeling rushed or cut off.

After each session, I create a personalized map of the parts, themes, and patterns that emerged. Clients use this to stay connected to themselves between sessions and continue the work in a grounded, supported way, not just during our time together.

Internal Family Systems Therapy

IFS helps get to the root of what’s keeping you stuck in survival mode. We work with the parts of you that learned to cope early on, allowing your nervous system to settle, your inner critic to soften, and your self-trust to grow. This approach supports lasting regulation and change from the inside out.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR is helpful when patterns feel stuck beyond what talking or insight alone can shift. By helping your nervous system process past experiences that still fuel anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional reactivity, those experiences lose their intensity and no longer run the show. Over time, this creates more ease and control in how you feel and respond.

Intensives

Therapy intensives offer a focused way to do deeper work in a shorter period of time. They’re ideal if you’re ready for meaningful change, want to move beyond weekly sessions, or need dedicated space to work through something specific with care and intention.

Why My Background Matters

My work began in trauma-focused therapy with children and teens, helping young nervous systems make sense of overwhelming experiences. That foundation deeply informs how I work with adults today because the patterns we struggle with now often formed early, when our brains and emotional systems were still developing. Understanding those early needs allows us to get to the root of what’s happening, not just manage what shows up on the surface.

Who This Work is For

This work is a good fit if you’re:

  • Wanting deeper work, not a quick fix

  • Curious about your patterns and ready to understand the why beneath them

  • Open to being gently challenged and going below the surface

  • Insightful and wanting to connect the dots in your life

  • Looking for lasting change, not just coping skills

This work may not be a good fit if you’re:

  • Looking for fast solutions or surface-level support

  • Only interested in tools or symptom management

  • Hoping therapy will “fix” you rather than help you understand yourself

For moms who don’t want to repeat the patterns they grew up with

Parenthood often brings unresolved patterns to the surface, especially if you learned early to put others first. You may notice anxiety, overwhelm, or reactivity showing up in ways that feel familiar but hard to change. We’ll hold space to understand what’s being activated, care for the younger parts of you carrying old burdens, and help you respond with more intention, presence, and self-trust, both as a parent and as a person.
